This reliable humidifier is capable of a maximum output of 1440 millilitres an hour, which is fully adjustable so you can increase or decrease mist levels to fine-tune the humidity in your growing space.
Want it to refill itself? You will need a float valve and a tank
The 23L has no float valve of its own, so out of the box you top it up by hand. To run it from a reservoir instead, here is how the parts fit together:
- Sonic Air Humidifier 23L — you are here. 1.44 L/hr, 23L on-board tank, manually controllable.
- Sonic Air 23L Float Valve — the part that lets this unit top itself up and shut off before it overflows.
- Gravity Fed Humidifier Refill Kit — the easy route. 50L FlexiTank, 3m hose and connectors in one box. Pick the + Float Valve option and it is everything this unit needs in a single order.
- Sonic Air PRO Humidifier — the step up. 6.5 L/hr for bigger rooms, with a float valve already built in, so it runs from a tank with nothing extra.
The tank must sit higher than the humidifier — gravity is the only thing moving the water, and the float installs at the top of the unit. And fill it with RO or distilled water: tap water scales the discs, leaves white dust across the tent, and voids the warranty.

The water tank includes a filler lid which allows the tank to be topped up using a hose, removing the need to take the unit apart.
If you are piecing the refill setup together yourself rather than buying the kit, you need the float valve, a FlexiTank, two hose end connectors (one for the tank, one for the float) and some garden pipe.
