Is a one-part feed as good as a two-part?
For soil, a well-formulated one-part is perfectly capable. Two-part feeds exist mainly because certain nutrients cannot be kept stable in the same concentrated bottle - a problem that matters more in hydro than in soil.
Do I need Cal-Mag with Hydrotops?
In coco or on soft water, yes - see Cal-Mag. In soil with average tap water, usually not.
