House & Garden is a Dutch nutrient house with a reputation built on repeatability. Their base feeds are made in small batches to tight tolerances, and the additive range is deliberately narrow - each product exists to solve one specific problem in the flowering cycle. It is a premium line, and it is what a lot of serious growers settle on once they stop chasing new bottles.
- Base nutrients: Coco A&B, Aqua Flakes A&B for recirculating hydro, Soil A&B and the 1-Component Aarde soil feed. Browse all base nutrients.
- Roots Excelurator: The product the brand is known for. The Gold and Silver versions protect and drive root mass in the first weeks - see more root stimulators.
- Late flower: Shooting Powder (0-39-25) for the final bulking window, plus Top Booster and PK 13-14 for the phosphorus and potassium push.
- Quality and uptake: Bud-XL to move sugars into the flower, Amino Treatment for stress and Top Shooter as a flowering stimulant.
- Root zone health: Multi Zyme to break down dead root matter, Drip Clean to keep drippers and lines clear, and Rhizo Force for soil biology. See all enzymes.
- Extras: Algen Extract, Nitrogen Boost 27% for hungry veg, Bat Mix Special 50L soil and House & Garden clay pebbles.
Why choose House & Garden?
Consistency. House & Garden batch-tests, and the feeds behave the same way every time you buy them, which matters when you are running the same recipe cycle after cycle. The additives are also unusually well differentiated - there is very little overlap between bottles, so you are not paying twice for the same effect.
House & Garden FAQs
Is House & Garden expensive to run?
The bottles cost more up front but the base feeds are concentrated and the recommended doses are modest, so cost per litre of made-up feed is closer to mid-range lines than the shelf price suggests.
Gold or Silver Roots Excelurator?
Gold is the stronger, more concentrated version aimed at hydro and coco. Silver is a lighter formulation, often preferred in soil and by growers who found Gold too aggressive.
When do I use Shooting Powder?
It is a late-flower product. Most growers start it around three weeks before harvest and run it for two to three feeds - follow the chart rather than eyeballing it, as it is potent.
