The H&G Cocos feed chart
Millilitres per litre of water. Veg here is four weeks and flower nine, which is the commonest UK cycle. If yours is longer or shorter, the calculator fits the same schedule to it rather than simply running out.

The printed sheet is per US gallon, and per RO water
The House & Garden 8 Week chart is printed per US gallon of reverse osmosis water. Every figure in the table above has been converted to per litre, which is a divide by 3.785 and the commonest place a UK grower goes wrong copying their sheet by hand.
The RO part matters as much. The chart assumes your water contributes nothing, so on UK tap water at 0.3 to 0.5 EC you are starting further up the scale than the sheet expects.
Why there is no target EC on this chart
House & Garden publish no EC on this chart at all — only an acidity band. That is their choice and this calculator respects it: where a manufacturer prints no EC, none is shown rather than one being made up. Watch your runoff and your plants instead.
What a full H&G Cocos run costs
For a common UK setup, nine plants in 3 gallon Quick Fill coco bags, four weeks of veg and nine of flower, the whole cycle comes to about £232 across 8 products, mixing roughly 1,500 litres of feed.
The single biggest line on that bill is H&G Cocos A+B at around £45. That is worth knowing before you order, because it is usually the additives rather than the base that decide what a run costs.
The calculator prices your actual grow rather than this example, and prices the other fifteen brands alongside it, so you can see what you are paying for.
Which House & Garden line should I be on?
Cocos is the coco base. Aqua Flakes is for recirculating systems, Hydro for run-to-waste inert media, and Soil for potting mix.
- H&G Aqua Flakes — For recirculating systems, rockwool and inert peat mixes.
- H&G Hydro — The run-to-waste and hydro base.
- H&G Soil — A noticeably heavier base than the inert lines — soil only.
The calculator only ever lists the lines that suit the medium you pick, so you cannot accidentally run a soil chart in coco.
