How Freeze Drying Works on the Harvest Right Large
The Large runs an automated freeze, vacuum and slow sublimation cycle from a touchscreen control panel, so once a load is in and a cycle is set it gets on with it on its own. Freezing first, then pulling the moisture out under vacuum at low temperature, protects colour, structure and nutritional value far better than drying with heat.
