You'll likely need to extend the wire on your solenoid as well, so get some extension wire. If you can't be bothered to build all the connections from the pump yourself, get the Powered Whip Kit instead — we've already built it for you, solenoid included.
Note: Don't get hung up on the "second" or "third" series naming! The third series you might see at other shops is a food-grade application — we don't sell it and you won't need it for irrigation use, but just in case you were scratching your head (as we were at first!)
- Operating pressure range of 0.5 – 10 bar (7 – 145 psi)
- 24V AC or 230V AC coil options
- Manual override which can be used when electrical power is not available
- Replacement coil available separately — no need to buy a whole new valve body if just the coil fails
The valve body is moulded polyamide with 30% fibreglass for a durable yet lightweight construction. The diaphragm seal, solenoid armature seal, and O-rings are NBR (Buna). Internal metal parts are stainless steel. Screw-fixed assembly allows in-service inspection and cleaning.
Reliable and cost-effective for small-scale irrigation of terraces, greenhouses, and nurseries, ornamental water features, and small gardens.
