The GrowMax Green Coconut Carbon Block Filter is the pre-filtration stage for the GrowMax Water 3000 Reverse Osmosis system. It sits ahead of the membrane, removing chlorine, sediment, and organic compounds from your incoming water before it reaches the RO membrane itself.
Why this matters: Chlorine and sediment left unfiltered will degrade your RO membrane far faster than normal use alone. Changing the carbon block on schedule protects the far more expensive Replacement Membrane (£240) from premature failure — a £43 filter is a lot cheaper than an early membrane replacement.
