Flood and drain or dripper?
Flood and drain suits clay pebbles and recirculating setups with fewer, larger plants. Drippers suit coco and run-to-waste, and give you finer control over feed frequency.

Do I need the Brain unit?
For a flood and drain system, yes - it is what controls the fill and drain cycle. Dripper systems run from a pump and timer instead.

Can I expand an IWS system later?
Yes. The systems are modular - add pots, extend the manifold, or move to a larger reservoir without replacing what you have.
