FloraFlex is an American irrigation company that redesigned drip feeding around one idea: water should reach every part of the root zone, not just the spot under the dripper. The Flora Cap sits on the medium and spreads feed across the whole surface, and the rest of the range - platforms, matrices, quick fill bags - builds outward from that. It is the most complete precision irrigation system we stock.
Not sure which parts you need? Use our free FloraFlex drip system calculator. Tell it your tent size and plant count and it works out every fitting for a complete closed-circuit system - pump, pipe, elbows, tees, drippers and runoff - then drops the whole list in your basket with 10% off the FloraFlex parts.
- Flora Caps and clips: The caps that distribute feed evenly across the medium surface, plus the clips that hold them in place.
- PotPro platforms: Pot and platform systems with built-in drainage, sized for standard 4 x 4ft spaces - see all irrigation systems.
- Micro drippers and dripline: 1-way and 2-way micro dripper assemblies at 0.5 and 1 GPH, 1/4in OD dripline and 16-17mm LDPE tubing. Browse pipes, hoses and fittings.
- Fittings: 3/4in BSP to 16-17mm adaptors, elbows, tees and connectors, plus pressure gauges, lateral flush valves and the Flora hole puncher for building a system cleanly.
- Quick Fill bags: 1 and 2 gallon pre-filled media bags at 60% water holding capacity - see all coco and grow media.
- Nutrients: The FloraFlex nutrient line including Bulky B and Full Tilt late-bloom ripener - more bloom enhancers.
Why choose FloraFlex?
Even distribution. A single dripper wets a cone through the medium and leaves the rest dry, which is why root zones go patchy and EC climbs in the corners. Spreading feed across the whole surface uses the entire pot, and it is the cheapest way to make a run-to-waste system behave predictably.
FloraFlex FAQs
How many drippers do I need per plant?
Two stakes a pot is the working rule - one stake wets one side of a root ball, two on opposite sides wet it through. How many assemblies that takes depends on which you buy: a 1-way carries one stake so you need two per pot, a 2-way carries two so one does a pot, and a 4-way feeds a pair of pots. Our drip system calculator does that count for you.
Do I need Flora Caps to use FloraFlex drippers?
No - the drippers, tubing and fittings work as a standard drip system. The caps are the upgrade that distributes the feed once it arrives.
What size tubing does FloraFlex use?
16-17mm LDPE for the main line and 1/4in for dripline. The 3/4in BSP adaptors connect it to standard UK fittings.
What pressure do FloraFlex drippers need?
The emitters are pressure compensating and want 15-50 PSI, ideally 25-35. Below 15 they stop regulating and watering goes uneven, which is why pump choice matters more than it looks on a bigger room.
Are Quick Fill bags reusable?
They are designed as a single-cycle medium. The PotPro pots and platforms are the reusable part of the system.
