Is it a dripper?
No. The horseshoe shape and cable can make it look a bit like a dripper, but it is a light only. Nothing is watered through it.
How far apart are the lights?
Each light sits 1 metre from the next on its linking cable. To space them further apart, add the optional 1m lamp to lamp extension lead from the MaxiLED PRO TS spare parts page.
What is the Maxibright MaxiLED PRO TS?
It is a compact 40W under-canopy LED from Maxibright with a unique horseshoe shape. The horseshoe fixture sits around the base of an individual plant, which makes it a good fit for tents and smaller grow spaces where larger under-canopy bars are not practical.
How many MaxiLED PRO TS lights can one power lead run?
One power lead can run up to 25 MaxiLED PRO TS lights daisy-chained together, so you do not need a plug for every plant.
Is the MaxiLED PRO TS waterproof?
It is IP65 rated, which suits the humidity and splashes of a grow room. As with any mains lighting, keep the plug and connections clear of standing water.
What comes with the MaxiLED PRO TS?
Each light has an integrated driver and comes with a ground stake that pushes into the plant pot. The single light comes with one power cable, UK or EU, so you can plug it in straight away. The packs of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 and 25 each come with the lights plus one 2.5m plug-and-play power lead (UK or EU), with the lights connecting to each other.

Which version should I choose?
For one plant, choose 1 Horseshoe with a UK or EU plug, which gives you a working light. For several plants, choose a pack of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 or 25 horseshoes, each with one power lead, at a lower price per light. If you already have a set and want one more light, an extra light without a power cable is on the spare parts page.
What spectrum does the MaxiLED PRO TS use?
It uses a blue and red spectrum, built from Samsung white and San'an red LEDs behind PC optical lenses, and it is designed as supplementary light to sit alongside your main grow light.
Is there an EU plug version of the MaxiLED PRO TS?
Yes. Every pack size, from 1 to 25 horseshoes, is available with a UK plug or an EU plug. Choose the Plug option that matches your sockets, then pick how many horseshoes you need.
Do I need a transformer to run the MaxiLED PRO TS?
No. Each light has an integrated driver and the power lead is plug and play, so there is no separate transformer to buy. One power lead, UK or EU, can run up to 25 lights.
Can I space the lights further apart?
Yes. The lights connect to each other, and the optional 1m lamp to lamp extension lead, sold separately on our spare parts page, lets you space them further apart.
Does a single light come with a power cable?
Yes. The 1 Horseshoe option comes with one power cable, UK or EU depending on the Plug you choose. One power lead can run up to 25 lights. If you only need an extra light for an existing set, a light without a power cable is on the spare parts page.
