The TriPart Hydro/Coco — Easy feed chart

Millilitres per litre of water. Veg here is four weeks and flower nine, which is the commonest UK cycle. If yours is longer or shorter, the calculator fits the same schedule to it rather than simply running out.

TriPart Micro comes in a hard water and a soft water edition. They are not interchangeable and the calculator picks the right one from the water question rather than leaving it to you. Final Part is the flush at the end, not a feed.

Two charts, and most people are on the wrong one

Terra Aquatica publish an Easy schedule and an Expert schedule for every line. Easy is the three base bottles and nothing else. Expert adds their own band on top: a root stimulant, Fulvic or Humic, Seaweed and a bloom stimulant.

That is not a beginner and advanced split in the way it sounds. It is a decision about how many bottles you want in the tank, and the Easy chart is a complete schedule that will take a plant from week one to the chop on its own. Pick Expert because you want the extra control, not because the word sounds better.

Mix to the EC, not to the millilitres

The doses above assume your water starts at zero. UK tap water usually sits between 0.3 and 0.5 EC before you add anything, and that counts towards the targets in the last column.

So on tap water you will reach the chart’s own EC with slightly less nutrient than it prints. Use the doses to get close and the meter to know. On RO, the printed figures are the ones to run.

What a full TriPart Hydro/Coco run costs

For a common UK setup, nine plants in 3 gallon Quick Fill coco bags, four weeks of veg and nine of flower, the whole cycle comes to about £104 across 4 products, mixing roughly 1,500 litres of feed.

The single biggest line on that bill is Terra Aquatica TriPart Micro (hard water) at around £42. That is worth knowing before you order, because it is usually the additives rather than the base that decide what a run costs.

Which Terra Aquatica line should I be on?

TriPart is the three-bottle system and it covers every medium off one set of bottles. DualPart is two bottles per medium instead, so there is a Coco version, a Hydro version and a Soil version, each buffered for what it is going into. Both run at Easy or Expert.

The calculator only ever lists the lines that suit the medium you pick, so you cannot accidentally run a soil chart in coco.
