OptiClimate FAQs
Water-cooled or split?
Water-cooled keeps everything inside and rejects heat to a water loop - discreet and quiet, but you need somewhere for the heat to go. Split needs an external condenser but is simpler to install where that is possible.
Do I still need extraction with an OptiClimate?
A sealed room does not need continuous extraction, but you will still want carbon filtration on any air that does leave, and the unit itself takes replaceable carbon filters.
Can I run CO2 with it?
Yes - that is largely the point. A sealed, climate-controlled room is the only environment where CO2 enrichment is not simply vented straight out.
