Plants need light, water, and Co2 (air) to photosynthesis, each being a limiting factor for its overall growth. E.g. if you increase the intensity of light, you should increase the other two factors, so the uplift in light intensity is maximised. It's like a bodybuilder going into competition season who starts to eat more but doesn't increase his workout intensity.
With the advancement of LED tech, achieving high levels of light intensity is easier and more affordable. When the light intensity is increased above 800-900PPFD, you'll unlock greater benefits with supplemental Co2! You'll also be able to run temperatures higher (great for the summer months!), and it's best during the vegetative state, but also beneficial during flowering.
For grow rooms not sealed, i.e. tents, we recommend dialling down the pull of your extraction (check out our fan controllers) to idle as low as possible to maintain a temperature of around 26 degrees Celsius, so the supplemental Co2 isn't extracted straight out! Don't forget the other limiting factor - water! They will need to be fed more, so pay attention to your plant's needs. We recommend putting either an ExHale bag, Smart Co2 bag or a TNB canister in your grow room at a coverage of one per square metre.
