Air AC Fan
The Air AC Fan (formerly RadAir) from Global Air Supplies is a mixed-flow inline extractor built for high air volume at pressure, which is what matters once a carbon filter and a few metres of ducting are in the way. Sealed, robust housing with built-in mounting brackets, easy to strip down for cleaning, and a 12-month warranty as standard.
THE KETTLE LEAD IS INCLUDED
Buy the Air AC fan on its own and the IEC lead is a separate purchase. Every kit on this page ships with a 2.5m IEC kettle lead included.
Rhino Hobby Carbon Filter
Made with the same style of granulated (not pelletised) carbon as the premium Rhino Pro range, giving odour molecules more contact time with the carbon for efficient scrubbing even at low airflow speeds. Expect a 9–12 month lifespan — turn the filter around at the 6-month mark to even out wear and get the most from it.
Want Smarter Control?
An AC fan has no speed control built in, so out of the box it runs at full output. To turn it down, or to run it on temperature or humidity, pair it with a fan speed controller — the SMS Twin is the usual choice at this end of the range.
Stepping Up A Level
If you want a bigger carbon filter, a longer service life and sizes above 6", the Air AC Fan & CarboAir Extraction Kit runs the same fan against a CarboAir 50 filter from 4" all the way to 12". For quiet, fully controllable extraction, the Air EC kit uses roughly half the power and ships with a 0–100% dimmer.
