Description

The GrowMax Max Pump 700 delivers up to 700 litres a day, around 30 litres an hour, of ultra-pure water. Suited to medium grows, hydroponic setups and garden use.

Got low mains pressure? This is the one.

The Max Pump 700 has a pressure pump built in, which is what the name refers to. It holds pressure across the membrane on supplies that would leave other RO units struggling, so there is no separate booster kit to buy and nothing extra to plumb in. Every other GrowMax RO unit relies on your mains pressure alone.

Why choose it

  • Up to 700 L/day of purified water
  • Integrated pressure pump, so low mains pressure is not a barrier
  • Efficient roughly 1.5:1 waste to pure ratio. Every 2.5 litres in gives you 1.5 litres pure and 1 litre waste
  • Removes up to 95% of salts and heavy metals and up to 99% of chlorine
  • Filters sediment down to 5 microns
  • Indoor or outdoor install
  • Steadier pH, better nutrient performance, healthier microbial life in the root zone
  • Add the De-Ionization Kit for near zero TDS

What it removes

  • Salts, heavy metals, chlorine and chloramine
  • Nitrates and nitrites
  • Dirt, rust and sediment
  • Herbicides, pesticides and VOCs including benzene, oils, detergents and PCBs

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a booster pump kit with this?

No. The pump is already in it. The GrowMax booster kits are for the Power Grow 500, Maxquarium 000 and Mega Grow 1000, which have no pump of their own.

How does it compare to the Mega Grow 1000?

The Mega Grow makes more water, 1000 L/day against 700, but it needs 40 PSI of mains pressure to do it and a booster kit if you have not got that. The Max Pump 700 brings its own pressure. If your supply is weak, the 700 will often out-produce the 1000 in practice.

Can I get it down to 0 PPM?

Add a De-Ionization Filter Kit after the RO stage. RO alone takes out up to 95% of dissolved solids, the DI stage takes care of the rest.

Clean feed water, stable pH and nutrients that do what the bottle says. Ideal for hydroponics, soilless systems and anyone growing somewhere with hard or heavily treated tap water.
