Gorilla Box tents are built heavier than the market standard – 210D and 600D mylar fabric, chunky zips, and steel frames at 16mm or 25mm depending on size. They are less well known in the UK than Bud Box, and priced accordingly, which makes them one of the better value heavy-duty options we stock.
What you get
Heavier fabric. 600D on the larger models, against the 210D that is typical elsewhere. It resists tearing when you are feeding cables and ducting through.
Real frames. 25mm steel on the bigger tents. Manufacturer-stated hanging capacities for every brand we carry are tabled on our grow tents page.
Very large formats. Up to 8 x 4m, which puts them in massive grow tent territory alongside Bud Box Pro.
Adjustable height models. Some Gorilla tents ship with a 1ft extension kit, taking a 211cm tent to 241cm – browse tall grow tents.
Where Gorilla fits against the others
If Bud Box Lite is the value option and Bud Box Pro is the default upgrade, Gorilla sits alongside the Pro on build but usually below it on price. The trade-off is a smaller UK dealer network and fewer spares on the shelf. For a room you are building once and running hard, that is rarely the deciding factor.
We are a hydroponics shop in Croydon and we build these tents rather than just list them. Browse all grow tents for the full range, or tell us your space and what you intend to hang and we will spec it. Discreet UK and European delivery, and excellent customer reviews on Trustpilot.
