P500 vs P500 Bottomless – What’s the Difference?

• Pollinator P500: Classic dry sifting tumbler with a closed base. Best suited for batch processing where material is collected between runs.
• Pollinator P500 Bottomless: Open-base design allows sift to fall directly into removable trays below, enabling continuous operation without removing the drum.

If you prefer a straightforward, controlled workflow, the standard P500 delivers excellent results. If speed, grading efficiency, and uninterrupted sessions matter, the Bottomless version is the clear upgrade.

Instructions

1. Place dried material in an airtight bag and freeze for approximately two hours before use.
2. Open the lid and carefully lift the drum from the motor side.
3. Load material into the drum, avoiding hard stems or dense debris.
4. Run the machine for 2–5 minutes depending on desired quality.
5. Collect material from trays and clean components after use.
