ControlLED Dio-Tech 830W Satellite LED Grow Light

The ControlLED Dio-Tech 830W Satellite LED is designed to expand an existing Dio-Tech lighting system, delivering identical output and spectrum to the Primary unit while being fully controlled by it.

The Satellite fixture uses the same high quality Osram diode platform and optical layout as the Dio-Tech 830W Primary. Light output, spectrum, and efficiency are the same. The difference is control. The Satellite has no onboard control panel and instead follows all commands from the Primary unit automatically.

Note: This fixture requires a Dio-Tech 830W Primary unit to operate. It cannot function independently.

This makes the Satellite ideal for larger grow spaces where multiple fixtures are required but centralised control is preferred.

How the Satellite Works

The Dio-Tech 830W Satellite connects directly to a Dio-Tech 830W Primary fixture. Once linked, it mirrors all settings from the Primary unit, including spectrum selection, dimming level, and photoperiod timing.

No additional configuration is required. When the Primary changes mode, every connected Satellite responds instantly.

Expandable System Architecture

A single Dio-Tech 830W Primary unit can control up to 49 Satellite fixtures. When used with a compatible ControlLED controller and WiFi control, systems can be expanded further to manage up to 200 Satellite fixtures.

This allows large installations to operate from one central control point without the need for multiple timers, controllers, or duplicated setup.

Same Spectrum and Performance as the Primary

The Satellite fixture contains the same diode array and spectral design as the Primary unit, including increased red output aimed at flowering efficiency.

It supports all four preset spectrum modes selected on the Primary unit, covering vegetative growth through flowering with no compromise in output or quality.

UVA & Far Red Infill Bar Compatibility

Like the Primary unit, the Dio-Tech 830W Satellite supports optional Dio-Tech 100W UVA & Far Red Infill Bars.

When infill bars are connected, they are powered and controlled by the Primary unit alongside the Satellite, maintaining clean cable management and synchronised operation across the entire system.

No White Label Hardware

The Dio-Tech Satellite is not a generic white label fixture. It is part of a deliberately engineered lighting platform built around spectrum control, system scalability, and verified performance.

ControlLED place a strong emphasis on transparency and independent validation. The Dio-Tech platform has undergone third party testing using integrating sphere and goniophotometer equipment to verify output and efficiency.
