This IWS Control Unit designed for the IWS Flood & Drain Pro Remote (25mm pipe) System comes complete with remote timer (which has both a 15-minute segmental and precise minute timer), upgraded 3000L/hr pump and 25mm pipe connector fittings.

How Does the IWS F&D Pro Remote Work?
Nutrient is pumped from the FlexiTank to the IWS Control Unit at times and durations set by the user with the IWS Timer. The Control Unit is directly connected, via pipework, to the pots in the systems. As the Control Unit fills up, the pots also fill until the top float valve inside the IWS Control Unit is engaged, stopping the flow of water from the FlexiTank (the float height is the same as the top of the pots, preventing the system from ever flooding).

There are two parts to each pot – an outer pot and inner pot. The IWS outer pot connects via glands and fittings to the pipework in the system, delivering nutrient solution to the pots as the system floods. The inner pot contains the substrate and root mass. It sits inside the outer pot to allow contact with the nutrient but keeping the media inside the pot.

IWS Flood & Drain TWO PUMP PRO REMOTE Brain Control Unit

  • 25mm inlets/outlets
  • This is the original IWS Pro Brain, containing 2 maxijet 1000 pumps instead of the Sicce 3000 pump.
  • Drains slower than the new brain IWS-CU-PRO, however, if one pump goes down then the system still functions. That said, the Sicce italian made pump are bullet proof.
  • The timer is built onto the unit
  • This timer is a minute and seconds timer for more precise feeding.

IWS AUTODRAIN STANDARD Brain Control Unit

  • This is only a drain brain (water is one way from pots as opposed to feeding the pots and draining the pots)
  • Contains one maxijet 1000 pump and no timer unit
  • No timer on unit (it doesn't need one)

IWS AUTODRAIN PRO Brain Control Unit (25mm)

  • Code: IWS-CU-AD-PRO
  • 25mm inlets
  • This is only a drain brain. Water is one way from pots as opposed to feeding the pots and draining the pots
  • Contains a Sicce Ultra Zero 3000 pump
  • Would recommend this for systems over 24 pots, and/or if you're pumping your run off far away
  • No timer on unit (it doesn't need one)
