Can I connect the GB Silent-Max Twin Speed Fan to a fan speed controller?
No. It has its own built-in controller with a low and a high setting, so it cannot be hooked up to an external speed controller or climate controller. If you want variable speed, choose one of our EC duct fans instead.
How much air does it move on low and high?
The 10" moves 3,000m3/h on high and 2,000m3/h on low. The 12" moves 3,100m3/h on high and 2,050m3/h on low.
How much power does it use?
Both sizes are rated at 320W. The 10" draws 1.2A and the 12" draws 1.3A.
Is it quiet?
It is designed for high airflow with low noise and has an insulated foam lining for sound protection. To cut noise further, add acoustic ducting or a silencer, and run it on the low setting when you do not need full airflow.
Which carbon filter should I use with it?
A CarboAir 100 in 10" x 660mm (3,800m3/h) suits the 10" fan, and a CarboAir 100 in 12" x 660mm (4,250m3/h) suits the 12" fan. Both have the airflow capacity to match the fan on high speed.
Does it come with a cable?

The GB Silent-Max Twin Speed Fan V2 is a foam-lined inline extractor built for high airflow with low noise. Choose the 10" (up to 3,000m3/h) or the 12" (up to 3,100m3/h), then flick the built-in switch between low and high speed. The controller is built into the fan, so there is nothing else to buy and nothing to wire up.
Important: It Has Its Own Speed Switch
This is a twin speed fan with its own built-in controller (low or high). It cannot be hooked up to an external fan speed controller, so it will always run at whichever of the two speeds you pick. If you want variable speed or climate control, have a look at our EC Duct Fans instead.
