Description

Vitopod Large Propagator

The Vitopod is the most adjustable heated propagator on the market — part deluxe propagator, part cold frame, part mini greenhouse. Growers can dial in heat, humidity, and height independently, giving seeds and cuttings exactly the environment they need at every stage, from germination through to hardening off.

  • Deluxe single height: 111 × 58 × 27cm (L x W x H)
  • Deluxe double height: 111 × 58 × 42cm (L x W x H)

Heat

Seeds or cuttings sit on the heated base in any propagation medium. Set your target temperature — anywhere from 5°C to 30°C — on the digital thermostat, and an accurate probe inside the propagator holds it to within 1°C. Heat spreads evenly across the base, so there are no hot or cold spots and no uneven growth.

Humidity

The Vitopod's layers and lids sit on top of the heated base to lock in the ideal propagation environment. Adjustable vents on both the lids and side panels give full control over humidity and airflow — open them up gradually as plants develop, to harden them off before transplanting.

Height

Build the Vitopod up as your plants grow. Start with just the lids on the base for maximum humidity during germination, add a layer as seedlings develop, then a second layer to grow young plants on until they're root-bound and ready to harden off and transplant.
