How to maximise lifespan (read this!)
Before first use, screw on the included spigot duct. After each run (or every 8–12 weeks), remove the base and spigot, swap them to the opposite end, and reinstall. Think of it like wearing your pants, then turning them inside out—crude but accurate: you’re putting the “fresh” carbon end to work, which evens out wear and helps you reach the full 9–12 month lifespan typical of Hobby filters.

How Rhino carbon filtration works

Set-up checklist
- Screw on the spigot duct (included) before use.
