Irrigation Whip Kit – 16 mm to 25 mm (Aquaking Pump → FloraFlex Drippers)

Build a clean, reliable feed line from your Aquaking submersible pump to any FloraFlex® irrigation  with this ready-to-assemble irrigation whip kit. It includes the connectors, inline filter Flush Valve you need to protect emitters from blockages, and stop siphoning when the pump turns off.  Includes stepped hosetails to fit flexible hoses from 16mm to 25mm - you just need to choose how much hose you need. PTFE tape is included for watertight threaded joints.

What This Kit Does

• Creates a neat “pump-to-manifold” whip for hydroponic drip irrigation and top-feed systems. 
• Use with any hose from 16mm to 25 mm 
• Pre-filters the feed with a inline sediment filter to prevent emitter clogging.
• Prevents back-siphon and dribble with a DNL non-leak valve (no runoff after shutoff).

Do I Need Hose Clamps?

For barbed joints, you can add metal clamps if you prefer. Grab them here: Hose Clamps & Fixings. If you want a quick, tool-free option, use a zip-tie, or just uncoil a paperclip and and twist-tighten that around the barb — it’s fast, secure and avoids faff! (We still recommend clamps on high-pressure lines.)

Compatibility Notes

• Aquaking pump threads: some models come with multiple fittings and you may need to saw off a barbed part of the pump fitting to get to the 1" thread. This kit covers the common Aquaking outlets; use the included PTFE tape on any threaded joins.
• Hose not included: supply your own 16mm to 25mm hose lengths to suit your layout.

• you can install the flush valve IN your tank submerged so it doesn't spit and soak everything.
• Mount the filter bowl vertical for easy visual checks and quick cleaning.
• Pressure-test the whip in a bucket before connecting to manifolds.
