Every kit ships with a working fan, filter and ducting setup as standard. Prefer things quieter — light sleepers, nearby neighbours, a room you sit in — upgrade to the silenced option below at checkout.

Both setups are specced so the filter can comfortably handle more air than the fan pushes through it — the filter is never the bottleneck, which is what keeps odour control working properly rather than restricting your airflow.

Why go silenced?
As the table above shows, the silenced upgrade isn't just a quieter fan — it's a matched set. The EC-driven Hyper Fan uses less electricity than the standard AC fan while still moving more air, the acoustic ducting dampens the noise of that air moving through it, and the padded clamp keeps an airtight seal between fan and filter so nothing bypasses the carbon unfiltered.
