Description
The Pollinator P150 and P150 Bottomless Tumbler are compact, high-efficiency dry sifting machines designed for continuous, controlled separation of dry botanical material.
Built for users working with up to 150g per run, both versions use gentle drum rotation and a precision micron screen to separate fine material without crushing or over-processing. The result is a clean, repeatable sift with minimal effort.
The key difference comes down to workflow. The standard P150 uses a traditional closed base, while the P150 Bottomless is designed for uninterrupted collection and faster grading.
P150 vs P150 Bottomless – What’s the Difference?
- Pollinator P150: Classic dry sifting tumbler with a closed base. Ideal for users who prefer batch-style processing and manual collection between runs.
- Pollinator P150 Bottomless: Removes the base entirely, allowing sift to fall directly into removable trays below. This enables continuous operation without stopping or removing the drum.
If you want simplicity, the standard P150 delivers excellent results. If you want speed, cleaner grading, and uninterrupted workflow, the Bottomless version is the upgrade.
Bottomless Design Advantage
The bottomless design allows material to fall directly into two removable collection trays, making it easy to separate grades as you work. With optional stackable trays and additional drums available in different micron sizes, you can fine-tune quality without slowing down.
This makes the P150 Bottomless especially useful for users who want better control over purity and consistency across longer sessions.
Size & Real-World Scale
The P150 tumbler measures 50 × 31 × 40 cm. To put that into everyday terms:
- About the height of 3 standard shoeboxes stacked
- Roughly the same footprint as a medium microwave
- Similar drum volume to 8 to 10 full decks of playing cards stacked together
Compact enough for benchtop use, yet large enough to process meaningful volumes efficiently.
Key Features
- 150g dry material capacity per run
- Continuous dry sifting operation
- Standard 150 micron screen
- Bottomless option for seamless collection
- Includes 2 removable collection trays
- Food-safe construction for hygienic processing
- Durable, easy-to-clean design
Typical Applications
- Dry sift production
- Herbal refinement
- Aromatic plant processing
- Food-safe pollen collection
Instructions
- Before using the Pollinator machine, place your plant material in an airtight bag and store it in a freezer for approximately two hours. This improves separation efficiency.
- Open the lid and carefully lift the drum out, starting from the motor side.
- Insert prepared material into the drum. Avoid stalks or hard material to protect the screen. Close securely.
- Run the machine for 2 to 5 minutes for high quality separation.
- Collect material from the tray and clean the unit after use.
Notes for Best Results
- Freeze material before processing for cleaner separation
- Operate in a cool, dry environment
- Collect sift regularly to maintain quality
- Avoid moisture or condensation inside the drum
- Clean screen and trays between runs
Optional: Extra drums in alternative micron sizes and stackable tray upgrades are available for expanded grading control.
