- Prepare Cuttings: Using sterilised scissors or scalpel, take a cutting at 45° beneath a node. Trim or halve large leaves to reduce water loss.

- Dip: Submerge cutting’s stem 0.5–1 inch into the solution for 5–20 seconds (softwood) or 10–30 seconds (hardwood).
