Description
CANNA FLUSH is a product to clean substrates and plants from any excess nutrients. This is necessary, because excess nutrients can have a bad influence your next growth cycle. They could lead to over-fertilisation or malnutrition, for example.

- 2ml per litre in soil or soil-less media; 4ml per litre in open hydro systems or reused inert substrate

- In reused substrate, soak for 24 hours, then follow with plain water before resuming normal feed.
Flush works by saturating the growing medium with a nutrient-free solution and pushing it through to drainage, carrying accumulated salts out with it rather than adding anything back in. Used this way it clears the substrate without stripping out the beneficial bacteria and fungi that have built up in it — something plain reverse-osmosis or demineralised water won't do, since water on its own carries no protection for the microbial life around the roots while it strips the salts out.
Run it one to two weeks before harvest to pull the leftover nutrient salts out of the plant and substrate, which is what gives a cleaner taste and burn on the finished product. Between grow cycles, on reused substrate, it does the same job of resetting the medium so residual salts from the last crop don't carry an imbalance into the next one.
