Description
Air-Pots allow your plants to develop a remarkable radial root system that simply cannot be matched in any other growing container. The aeration in the Air-Pot means that your plants will have the opportunity to develop an insane root system that is unrivalled with other growing containers!
How Air Pots Works
The shape of the pot wall guides each root towards an air hole. The air dehydrates the tip, prunes it and stimulates root branching. The process repeats until there is a mass of healthy fibrous roots. The air holes also ensure perfect drainage and aeration of the growing medium, creating ideal conditions for healthy bacteria to release more nutrient to the plant.
Independent Research has proven the amazing benefits of growing with the Air-Pot system. Trials in Holland and Germany have shown spectacularly improved growth both in the nursery and after planting in the landscape. Liquidambar trees, taken from the Air-Pot U and grown in 45-litre Air-Pot containers, grew to over 4 metres high with a girth of 10 cm only 20 months after grafting. 75% faster growth than in the open field.

How Do I Build and Use Air Pots?
Building and using Air Pots is easy! They arrive flat-packed and are simple to assemble. To build your Air Pot, lay everything out on a flat surface and follow these steps:
- Situate the perforated black wrap with the end without holes opposite where you intend to position the coloured base.
- Wrap the perforated black plastic around the coloured base.
- Fix the wrap in place with the included coloured screws.
- Fill the pot with your chosen potting medium.
- When you're finished with the pots, they are simple to deconstruct for easy storage.
Garden Tip: See the number of screws needed per pot in the size guide below. If you want extra screws (handy for spares), you can purchase them separately on this page.
