Duct fans fall into two main categories; AC and EC. Your go-to AC fans are the bullet-proof and reliable RVKs, or a little more pocket-friendly, is the Garden High Pro. EC fans, however, offer far more efficiency and run quieter due to their super-efficient digital motor. Most will also come with a dimmer.
