Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the single, twin and triple pack?
The twin and triple packs are two or three identical S9 fans in one order. Each one is the same AC-CCS9 as the single, and the packs cost a little less than buying the same number of singles.
How much airflow does the Cloudray S9 give?
AC Infinity rates the S9 at up to 405 CFM and 35 dBA. It has 10 speed levels, and running below maximum keeps it quieter when you do not need the full output.
What are the wind modes and oscillation settings for?
AC Infinity gives the S9 10 dynamic wind modes and 10 oscillation settings. The wind modes are designed to imitate a natural outdoor breeze instead of one constant stream of air. The oscillation settings change how wide the head sweeps, from a narrow area to wide coverage.
Can I control the S9 from the AC Infinity app?
The S9 is part of AC Infinity's UIS platform. With a compatible UIS controller you can use the AC Infinity app over WiFi for timers, schedules and climate triggers.
Can I link several S9 fans together?
No. AC Infinity's Gen 2 Cloudray fans do not support daisy chaining, so each fan is connected on its own. With the twin or triple pack you get separate fans, each set up on its own.
Can I run the S9 24 hours a day?
Yes. It has a larger brushless EC motor with carbon steel gears, designed for long oscillation life, and the listed life expectancy is 67,000 hours.
Is the S9 suitable for a humid grow tent?
Yes. It is built for grow tent conditions. Keep it out of direct spray and never submerge it.
What size tent suits the S9?
The S9 is the largest Cloudray S fan, so it suits bigger tents and multi-light setups. In a large tent, two S9s let you cover the canopy from both sides.
How does the S9 compare with the S4 and S6?
The S9 is the biggest of the three at 9 inch, up to 405 CFM and 35 dBA. The S6 is 325 CFM and the S4 is 204 CFM, per AC Infinity. If your tent is small, the S6 or S4 is the better fit.
Description
The AC Infinity Cloudray S9 EC Oscillating Clip Fan delivers precise, whisper-quiet airflow from a 9″ EC motor built for the demands of indoor cultivation. With 10 fan speeds, 90° oscillation, and native UIS™ smart controller support, it gives growers granular control over canopy airflow at every stage — seedling through harvest.
EC Motor Technology
Brushless electronically commutated motor. Runs cooler, quieter, and outlasts standard AC fans — rated 67,000 hours.
Smart UIS™ Integration
Pairs with AC Infinity UIS™ controllers and the free iOS/Android app for Wi-Fi scheduling and trigger-based automation.
