Description
Climate Master CM-145 Dehumidifier | 145L/Day Grow Room Dehumidifier
If you need serious humidity control without paying Quest money, the Climate Master CM-145 is well worth a look. It is a high-capacity dehumidifier built for larger grow rooms, sealed rooms and other demanding indoor environments where smaller domestic units simply cannot keep up.
The important number is not just the headline 145 litres per day. At the more realistic test condition of 26°C and 60% RH, the CM-145 is rated to remove 88 litres per day. At 30°C and 80% RH, extraction rises to 145 litres per day.
It can run from its own programmable humidistat, or be integrated into a TrolMaster Hydro-X climate-control setup. An RJ port and 24V connector block are built in. For TrolMaster control, pair it with the TrolMaster HS-1 Humidity Station.

Built for high humidity loads
Once a room is full of actively transpiring plants, humidity can climb very quickly. That becomes even more noticeable when lights go off and the room temperature drops. The CM-145 gives you the extraction capacity to pull that moisture back out of the air and keep relative humidity under control.
Keeping RH stable helps reduce condensation and the conditions that encourage mould and mildew. It also makes it much easier to maintain a consistent grow-room climate and VPD instead of constantly chasing humidity swings.
Standalone or TrolMaster controlled
You do not need an external controller to use the CM-145. The included programmable humidistat allows the unit to manage humidity by itself.
If you already run a TrolMaster Hydro-X environmental controller, the CM-145 can also be incorporated into that system for automated humidity control. See our TrolMaster range for compatible climate-control equipment.
CM-145 vs Quest 155
The CM-145 is a strong alternative for growers looking at commercial dehumidification but who do not necessarily need the Quest badge. One thing to watch when comparing dehumidifiers is the test condition used for the quoted capacity. Litres-per-day figures change considerably with temperature and relative humidity, so compare units at equivalent conditions rather than relying on the model name or headline figure alone.
Frequently asked questions
How much water can the Climate Master CM-145 remove per day?
It is rated at up to 145 litres per day at 30°C and 80% RH. At 26°C and 60% RH, it is rated at 88 litres per day.
Can the CM-145 work with TrolMaster?
Yes. The CM-145 can be externally controlled through a TrolMaster Hydro-X setup and has an RJ port and 24V connector block built in. The TrolMaster HS-1 is the relevant humidity-control interface.
Can I use it without TrolMaster?
Yes. It comes with a programmable humidistat, so it can operate as a standalone dehumidifier.
Does it support continuous drainage?
Yes. The unit can be connected for direct drainage, which is particularly useful in larger rooms where it may be removing substantial amounts of water every day.
What size grow room is the CM-145 suitable for?
There is no reliable room-size figure based on floor area alone. Dehumidifier sizing depends on the amount of water entering the room, plant transpiration, irrigation volume, temperature, target RH, extraction and whether the room is sealed. If you are unsure, speak to us with your room dimensions and setup and we can help you size it properly.
Why are there two different extraction ratings?
Dehumidifiers remove more moisture in warmer, more humid conditions. That is why the CM-145 is rated at 145L/day at 30°C and 80% RH but 88L/day at 26°C and 60% RH. When comparing models, always check the temperature and RH used for the rating.
