Lite or Pro? The only decision that matters

The honest version: at 60 x 60 or 100 x 100 the Lite is genuinely fine, because you are never hanging enough to trouble the frame. From 2.4m upward, where you are carrying two or three fixtures and an 8in filter, the Pro’s heavier poles are the reason to pay the difference.

The Bud Box range

• Sizes: 40 x 40cm through to the Pro at 4.5 x 9m. Nearly every footprint in between is covered – see small grow tents, 100-200cm tents, 201-300cm tents and massive grow tents.
• White or silver: Pro tents are sold in both linings on the same model, so you can choose without changing tent. See white-lined tents.
• XL Height: many Pro tents offer a 2.2m variant alongside the 2.0m – browse tall grow tents.

What growers actually rate about them

Three-sided access on most models, which matters more than it sounds when you are trying to reach the back of a 2.4m tent. Chunky zips that survive being opened twice a day. And spares availability – poles, connectors and corner pieces are obtainable years later, which is not true of most budget brands.

Bud Box FAQs

Is the Pro worth the extra over the Lite?
At small sizes, usually not. At 2.4m and above, yes – the frame is the difference, and it is the part that fails.

White or silver lining?
Silver reflects more in total, white diffuses more evenly and is easier on the eyes. In smaller tents white tends to give a more even canopy.

What does XL Height mean?
2.2m instead of the standard 2.0m, same footprint. Worth it if you run HPS or veg for more than a few weeks.
