Description
Clearance — 12" AirOzone at £380 (was £539)
Supplied with a brand new replacement element included in the price.
Please read before ordering
- This unit has been used for two runs. It is not new stock, which is why it is priced at £380 rather than £539.
- No power plug fitted. The unit is supplied unterminated — you simply wire it to a standard 3-pin plug.
- A brand new element is included, so ozone output starts fresh regardless of the two runs on the housing.
A 12" G.A.S. AirOzone in-duct ozone generator, reduced for clearance. Rated for extraction up to 3,000 m³/h, it destroys odour in the exhaust air rather than filtering it.
What you get
- 12" (315mm) G.A.S. AirOzone in-duct ozone generator, used for two runs
- Brand new replacement element, included at no extra cost
- No plug fitted — wire to a standard 3-pin plug before use
How an ozone generator works
Ozone generators do not filter odour — they destroy it. Ozone (O3) is oxygen with a third, loosely bound atom. That extra atom breaks away easily and oxidises organic molecules, which kills bacteria, tackles mould spores and eliminates odour. The only byproduct is ordinary oxygen (O2).
How to fit it
Fit the AirOzone downstream of your extraction fan, with at least 5m of ducting after it:
Carbon Filter → Fast Clamp → Extractor Fan → Fast Clamp → AirOzone → 5m Ducting → outside
Safety: the ozone and air must be ducted outside
Exhaust from an AirOzone must never discharge into an enclosed area. The unit produces more ozone than is strictly needed to destroy the odours present, and ozone is harmful to breathe at high concentrations. Vent outside and only generate ozone while your extraction fans are running.
