Description
The AQUAvalve5 replaces the older, pre-August 2020 AQUAvalve with a 6mm pipe and fittings. It's a power-free irrigation device that fits in any existing AutoPot 1-pot tray and lid, with a 66% larger, 9mm diameter inlet for better irrigation, a lower chance of blockage, and faster filling.
AQUAvalve5 controls the flow of nutrient solution from the reservoir to the pot using gravity. Its float valve system decides when the reservoir refills — a fully automatic demand system that only tops up once the available water or nutrient solution is depleted, filling the pot to a set 20mm depth each time.
Your plants effectively control when they get more water and feed: the valve only opens once the float drops. This simulates a natural wet-and-dry cycle that helps maximise your plants' results.
