Streptologic is biostimulant composed of 3 bactiera and a fungus that works without a biofilter and can be used in small quantities.
Root protection against pathogens is a critical issue for all growers, whether in soil or hydroponics. Given the infinite care that growers take in the development of root systems, it is only natural that they want to protect their investment. Pythium, Fusarium, Verticillium and other bacterial and fungal pathogens can do irreparable damage to hydroponic systems, especially in hot weather, when warm air fosters the spread of moulds and damage can appear overnight.
There are “solutions” on the market such as UV sterilizers and fungicides available in garden centres, but all of these alternatives have drawbacks: cost, complexity of use, questionable results, toxicity of fungicides for humans and the environment.
StreptoLogic is easy to use and less expensive. It does not require a biofilter since the bacteria attach themselves directly to the roots.
It is a biostimulant that will use nature’s resources to produce phytohormones, fix iron and stimulate the root system. It will also make the plant more resistant to attacks by fungi and pathogenic bacteria that proliferate more quickly in hot weather.
StreptoLogic is suitable for use in organic farming according to EU regulation 2018\848 2021 1165.
- Dilution / Dose
- 1 g per 10 litres of water or nutrient solution.
- When To Use
- As a preventive every 6–8 weeks, ideally ahead of hot weather when pathogen pressure is highest.
- Substrate Fit
- Hydroponics, coco, and soil (open field: 0.5 kg/hectare, max 2 applications per year).

HOW TO USE
StreptoLogic is a natural, 100% biological protector, best used as a preventive. As with all aerobic microorganisms, the better the oxygen supply and the more stable the pH, temperature and humidity, the more effective and beneficial StreptoLogic is.
- To use as a preventive in anticipation of hot weather
- In hydroponics, coconut and soil : add 1 g per 10 liters of water or nutrient solution and apply every 6 to 8 weeks.
- In open field : use 0.5kg / hectare with a maximum of 2 applications per year
- StreptoLogic contains diatomaceous earth which adds silicon; and creates deposits. For some systems with spaghetti tubes, we recommend mixing StreptoLogic with water and a pump for 24 hours, then recovering the mixture and composting the deposit. Do not leave the mix without oxygenation for longer than 24 hours.
