Grodan Gro-Smart Tray Insert – 78 cells, sized for A-OK plugs, Mini-Blocks, Macroplugs, and Gro-Blocks.
A durable, double-sided Dutch tray built to speed up propagation. One side carries 78 cells sized for 1.5" starters, with rounded mesh support that improves airflow and reduces root damage as plugs establish. Flip it over and the mesh platform side holds Mini-Blocks or other Grodan AO plugs, raising the growing medium clear of the flat's base for better drainage and even rooting.
The 78 cells are sized exactly for Grodan's 1.5" (36/40) starter cubes – the same cubes in our Tray of 77 Rockwool Propagation Cubes. Pop that sheet of 77 straight into the Gro-Smart insert and you get a tray built to last the whole propagation stage, not just the trip from the shelf to your bench: a durable, dishwasher-safe Dutch tray you sanitise and reuse cycle after cycle, with rounded mesh cell walls that lift each cube clear of standing water and improve airflow around young roots. Once cuttings are ready to size up, flip to the mesh platform side for Mini-Blocks or Gro-Blocks – one tray carries you from cube to block instead of switching trays.
Fits a standard flat, is dishwasher-safe, and reuses cleanly between cycles — pairs well with a humidity dome for cloning and moves easily from the cloning room through to veg.
