Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the single, twin and triple pack?
The twin and triple packs are two or three identical S6 fans in one order. Each one is the same AC-CCS6 as the single, and the packs cost a little less than buying the same number of singles.
How much airflow does the Cloudray S6 give?
AC Infinity lists the S6 at up to 325 CFM. It has 10 speed levels, so you can turn it right down when you only need a light breeze.
What are the wind modes and oscillation settings for?
AC Infinity gives the S6 10 dynamic wind modes and 10 oscillation settings. The wind modes are designed to imitate a natural outdoor breeze instead of one constant stream of air. The oscillation settings change how wide the head sweeps, from a narrow area to wide coverage.
Can I control the S6 from the AC Infinity app?
The S6 is part of AC Infinity's UIS platform. With a compatible UIS controller you can use the AC Infinity app over WiFi for timers, schedules and climate triggers.
Can I link several S6 fans together?
No. AC Infinity's Gen 2 Cloudray fans do not support daisy chaining, so each fan is connected on its own. With the twin or triple pack you get separate fans, each set up on its own.
Is the S6 suitable for a humid grow tent?
Yes. It is built for grow tent conditions, with a brushless EC motor and dual ball bearings meant for long running hours. Keep it out of direct spray and never submerge it.
How do I mount the S6?
It clips onto a tent pole or frame, and you can mount it horizontally or vertically.
How does the S6 compare with the S4 and S9?
The S6 sits in the middle, a 6 inch fan at up to 325 CFM. The S4 is 4 inch at 204 CFM and the S9 is 9 inch at 405 CFM, all per AC Infinity. The S6 suits small to mid-sized tents such as 2x2 and 3x3. For a bigger tent, run a twin pack or step up to the S9.
