Important: If your dehumidifier features an electronic control panel and supports external 24V control, such as many Quest-style commercial dehumidifiers, this is the controller you need. If your dehumidifier uses a simple rotary dial or onboard humidistat, you'll require the TrolMaster DSH-2 Dehumidifier Plug instead.
Don't confuse the HS-1 with the TrolMaster TSH-1 Humidity Station, which is designed for controlling EC fans and ventilation equipment. For growers looking for dedicated extraction fan control, we generally recommend the Global Air Supplies Enviro Controller.

How the HS-1 Works
The HS-1 connects to your Hydro-X controller via the rear communication ports and continuously monitors environmental humidity. Once a target humidity level has been configured within Hydro-X, the HS-1 compares the current humidity against your programmed setpoint.
When room humidity rises above the desired level, the HS-1 sends a 24V control signal to the connected dehumidifier, activating it automatically. Once the humidity drops back within range, the dehumidifier is switched off, helping maintain a stable growing environment around the clock.
The integrated LCD screen displays both the current humidity reading and active setpoint, making monitoring quick and straightforward.
