Why This Kit Runs So Quiet
- Frictionless EC motor — speed regulation from 1–100% with major energy savings over standard AC fans, using roughly half the power.
- Straight-line airflow — unlike AC fans that exit air at around 90 degrees, air leaves the Silenced Vector in a straight line, travelling more efficiently down your ducting with less turbulence noise.
- Sealed housing — a single sealed unit that keeps odours contained within the fan itself.
- Acoustic ducting — insulation-lined to remove excess air movement noise from the whole system.
The CarboAir Filter
A 60mm carbon bed — thicker than the industry-standard 50mm — using coarser, high-quality carbon for maximum airflow alongside thorough odour removal.
Want Even More Soundproofing?
Upgrade the included ducting to Phonic Trap Acoustic Ducting for a further noticeable reduction in noise.
Which Size Do I Need?
Work out your grow space volume in m³ (Width x Length x Height), then multiply by 60 for the air movement needed per hour to refresh the room every minute. It's generally better to over-spec your fan and dial back the output with a controller — this gives you headroom for hotter months and avoids running the fan at 100% around the clock, which shortens its lifespan.
