How to Use

Before planting, soak the block in water or nutrient solution adjusted to a pH of 5.5–5.8. Allow it to drain until damp but not dripping. Transplant once your cutting or seedling shows at least three leaves or roots extending about 1 inch below the starter cube. Feed lightly at first, then increase as growth takes off.

When to Move On

The Hugo Block can sustain strong vegetative growth for weeks or even months. For larger crops or heavy fruiting varieties, transplant into a larger system such as rockwool slabs or fabric pots once roots reach the edges of the block.
