Faven Chroma CX2 Controller

The Faven Chroma CX2 Controller is the dedicated control unit designed exclusively for the Faven Chroma Under Canopy LED system. It gives growers simple, dependable lighting control without the complexity of larger automation platforms. Ideal for small to mid sized growers or anyone new to the Chroma ecosystem, the CX2 delivers accurate spectrum and timing adjustments in a straightforward, hand operated format.

What the CX2 Does

• Two independent channels: one for the main Chroma output and one dedicated to far red.

• Daily scheduling with on, off and optional ramp functions.
• Reliable control for up to 100 fixtures per line depending on layout.
• Totally offline operation with no remote access required.

Quick Setup Guide

1. Mount the CX2
   Install the controller in a dry, accessible position. Avoid high humidity corners or direct spray zones.
2. Power the Controller
   Connect the included power adapter to the CX2 and plug it into a mains outlet.
3. Connect Your Fixtures
   Use the RJ11 ports to link your Chroma fixtures. Assign them to Channel 1 or Channel 2 depending on whether you want main output control or far red control.
4. Select Your Channel
   Press the channel button to toggle between Channel 1 and Channel 2.
5. Choose Your Mode
   Manual Mode allows direct dimming and spectrum adjustment.
   Schedule Mode lets you set ON and OFF times along with an optional ramp up or ramp down period.
6. Set Far Red Timing
   Switch to Channel 2. Adjust ON time, OFF time and intensity as needed. You can run far red independently of your main lighting schedule.
7. Lock Your Settings
   Long press the confirm button to lock or unlock the controller. This prevents accidental changes when working near the unit.

• Keep the CX2 away from fans and foggers to extend lifespan.
• Label each channel if running multi zone setups for quick identification.
• Recheck schedules when switching crop types or growth stages.
• Use Channel 2 to create finishing effects with far red without altering main light intensity.

Compatibility Notice: The CX2 is only compatible with Faven Chroma fixtures. It will not operate any other LED system.
