Keep your nutrient pH in check. Growth Technology pH Down is a phosphoric acid solution designed for reliably lowering the pH of nutrient solutions in hydroponics, coco, and soil. How to Use
- Prepare your nutrient solution as usual and measure the current pH.
- Add pH Down gradually (a few drops or ml at a time depending on tank size), stirring thoroughly.
- Re-test after each addition until the target pH is reached.
- Typical target ranges: 5.5–6.5 for hydro/coco, 6.0–7.0 for soil.
Tip: Always dose slowly. It’s easier to add more than to correct overshooting.
Safety & Handling
- Although not extremely dangerous, pH Down is still a strong acid – handle with care.
- Wear gloves and eye protection when handling concentrated solution.
- Avoid skin or eye contact. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
- Store upright in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
- Never mix directly with pH Up. Add separately to your solution.
