A finishing flush that feeds instead of starves.
Athena Fade is a nitrogen-free finishing feed for the last stretch of flower. It supplies the immobile nutrients — calcium and micro elements among them — that plants still need to avoid starving during ripening. Athena developed Fade after extensive testing found that running it alongside Pro Bloom in the final two weeks increases terpene and total biological compound production without adding deficiency or rot risk.
- Dilution / Dose
- Same rate you'd normally run Core — a straight swap, not an additional dose
- When To Use
- Final 2 weeks of flower only — replaces Core, run alongside Pro Bloom
- Substrate Fit
- Any medium — used as a finishing feed for the Blended and Pro Line schedules alike
- Grower Notes
- Slightly more acidic than Core — recheck and recalibrate pH after switching over.
Worried a Hard Flush Will Starve Your Plants Right Before Harvest?
Traditional flushing strips out calcium and micro elements along with everything else, which can hurt yield and even cause rot right when you want a clean finish. Fade removes the excess nitrogen that holds back flower maturity and quality, while still feeding the immobile nutrients plants need to ripen properly.
Key Benefits
| Benefit | What It Means For Your Grow |
|---|---|
| Nitrogen-Free Formula | Strips the excess nitrogen that delays flower maturity |
| Still Feeds the Plant | Supplies immobile nutrients like calcium so plants don't starve during ripening |
| Boosts Terpene Production | Lifts total biological compounds when run alongside Pro Bloom |
| Reduces Deficiency and Rot Risk | Avoids the pitfalls of a traditional hard flush |
How to Use
- Swap in for Core: replace Core with Fade for the last two weeks of the flowering cycle.
- Match the rate: dose Fade at the same rate you'd normally run Core for these final feeds.
- Run with Pro Bloom: keep Pro Bloom in the mix through the finish for the terpene and compound uplift.
- Recalibrate pH: Fade is slightly more acidic than Core, so recheck and adjust pH after switching over.
