Global Air Supplies – G.A.S. – build extraction fans specifically for grow rooms rather than adapting general ventilation kit. The range covers standard AC inline fans, silenced boxes and EC fans with proper speed control.
The range
AC inline fans – the straightforward option. Single or twin speed, reliable, cheapest per m³/h.
Silenced and box fans – the motor and impeller sit inside an insulated housing. Substantially quieter, which is what matters in a flat or a bedroom.
EC fans – brushless motors with fully variable speed, far more efficient at part load and much quieter when turned down. More expensive up front, cheaper to run.
Controllers to drive them on temperature or humidity rather than a fixed speed.

If the room runs constantly and noise matters, EC pays back. For a single tent run at full speed, AC is fine.
Sizing
Work out the room volume in cubic metres and aim to change the air roughly once a minute, then add capacity for the resistance your carbon filter and ducting add – typically 25-50% on top. Fan and filter diameter must match.
