How the Hailea Flexible Rubber Air Curtain Works

The air curtain is made from a porous, flexible rubber tube available in multiple lengths. An inlet fitting on the end connects directly to any air pump using standard airline tubing. Once submerged and powered, air is pushed through the thousands of micro pores in the rubber, releasing a dense stream of fine bubbles throughout the entire curtain.

These bubbles rise through the nutrient solution, creating strong movement that prevents stagnation and keeps the mix evenly blended. As the bubbles break the surface, oxygen dissolves into the water far more effectively than still water can achieve on its own.
