Multiply that figure by 1.5–2 to account for bends in ducting, heat, or anything else that restricts airflow.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt's generally better to over-spec your fan and dial back the output with a controller — this gives you headroom for hotter months and future-proofs you if you upsize your grow room later.
