Knowing the pressure in your system is critical to ensure your drippers are working optimally. The Flora Flex Micro Drippers require 15 PSI but the optimum is 25 -35 PSI.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat Pressure Do These Need?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFloraFlex micro drippers are pressure compensating. They start regulating at \u003cstrong\u003e15 PSI\u003c\/strong\u003e and run best between 25 and 35. Below 15 the diaphragm stops regulating and the pots nearest the pump take the water first, which is the uneven watering people usually blame on a blockage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a 8 x 4ft footprint on 36 drippers, past the small-tent case. The \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/aquaking-high-pressure-pumps\"\u003eAquaking Q800103\u003c\/a\u003e at 3 bar is the pump for it, with the \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/rain-bird-34-irrigation-pressure-regulator\"\u003eRain Bird pressure regulator\u003c\/a\u003e to hold the line at 25 to 35 PSI. The pump pushes about 43 and the emitters should not sit above 40.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe smaller \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/aquaking-high-pressure-pumps\"\u003eQ4003\u003c\/a\u003e is only worth considering on a tent up to 1.5m x 1.5m with the reservoir alongside, and even then it needs the \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/irrigation-whip-kit-16-to-25mm-aquaking-to-floraflex\"\u003ewhip kit without the DNL\u003c\/a\u003e and a \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/floraflex-manual-flush-kit\"\u003eManual Flush Kit\u003c\/a\u003e rather than the automatic valve. A DNL needs 0.8 bar to open and that pump makes 0.78, so with one fitted no water reaches the ring at all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhatever pump you run, use a filter. Clogged emitters are the most common cause of uneven watering, and a \u003ca href=\"\/de\/products\/34-inch-high-pressure-filter-floraflex-male-adapters\"\u003e130 micron mesh filter\u003c\/a\u003e on the feed prevents most of it.
