The Control Unit is directly connected, via pipework, to the pots in the systems. As the Control Unit fills up, the pots also fill until the top float valve inside the IWS Control Unit is engaged, stopping the flow of water from the FlexiTank (the float height is the same as the top of the pots, preventing the system from ever flooding).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere are two parts to each pot – an \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.thehydrobros.com\/products\/iws-flood-drain-pots-stands-and-outers?_pos=1\u0026amp;_sid=6911d49e4\u0026amp;_ss=r\u0026amp;variant=39996475670712\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eouter\u003c\/a\u003e pot and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.thehydrobros.com\/products\/iws-flood-drain-pots-stands-and-outers\" target=\"_blank\"\u003einner\u003c\/a\u003e pot. The IWS outer pot connects via glands and fittings to the pipework in the system, delivering nutrient solution to the pots as the system floods. The inner pot contains the substrate and root mass.
